Elevenses is a short break taken around 11:00 a.m. to consume a drink and snack. The names and details vary among countries like Spain, Chile, Australia, Sweden, and here in the United States as we refer to it as a spot of tea & nibble. Our late-morning break includes a light snack — a slice of warm, creamy quiche, fluffy, flavorful scones, or delectable soups with a hot tea or coffee.
